Add a Boomcaster Link to Your Acuity Scheduling Events

If you're using Acuity Scheduling to manage session bookings, you can easily include your Boomcaster private studio link so guests receive it automatically when they book. Private links are persistent and ideal for recurring recordings or reserved studio spaces.

Step-by-Step: Add a Boomcaster Private Studio Link to Acuity

  1. Copy Your Boomcaster Private Studio Link

    • Log in to Boomcaster.

    • Open the studio you want to use.

    • Copy the private studio link, formatted like this:
      https://app.boomcaster.com/s/yourshow

  2. Add the Link to an Acuity Appointment Type

    • Log in to Acuity Scheduling.

    • Navigate to Appointment Types.

    • Select the appointment type for your Boomcaster session.

    • Scroll to the Location or Confirmation Page Text field.

    • Paste the Boomcaster link:
      “Join your session: https://app.boomcaster.com/s/yourshow”

  3. Include the Link in Confirmation Emails (Optional)

    • Go to Email Settings → Client Email Templates.

    • Select the confirmation email template for this appointment type.

    • Add the Boomcaster link and instructions like:

      “We’ll meet on Boomcaster: https://app.boomcaster.com/s/yourshow
      Please use a desktop browser (Chrome or Edge) for the best experience. Mobile browsers (Safari and Chrome) are also supported. Make sure you're in a quiet place for our recording session.”

  4. Save Your Changes

    • Click Save to update your appointment and email settings.

    • Guests will now receive the Boomcaster private studio link automatically when they book a session.

💡 Tip

You can create different private studio links in Boomcaster for each appointment type — ideal for managing separate shows, clients, or hosts.
